Galfan Wire Line

Tianjin Gongda manufactures a range of steel wire galvanizing lines.
It is authorized by GTC (Galfan Technology Center) to design and manufacture Galfan wire production lines and we can design and manufacture both one-dip and two-dip Galfan galvanizing lines.
Galfan wire produced from our lines is meets ASTMB802M-94, YB/T180-2000A STANDARD.
Designs are adjustable to fit different factory layouts and coating types.
1)Characteristic of production line:
Product range: low-carbon and high-carbon steel wire
Diameter range of steel wire:1.6-4.8 mm (Larger diameters on special request)
Variety of coating layer: pure zinc; Zinc followed by Galfan; single-dip Galfan; 5% Al:95% Zn
2) Characteristic of the technologies.
The single coating Galfan process makes it easier to control the aluminium composition of the Galfan bath
The single coating Galfan process is simpler, production cost is lower and quality is very consistent. The product is highly price competitive.
The production line is very flexible and can be designed to produce single-coated, double-coated and pure-zinc coated products on the same line
The patented pre-flux for the single-dip Galfan process is of a simple composition. Its performance is consistent to give consistent coating adhesion and no galvanizing misses.
The low cost alternative to Galfan is the 5% aluminium:95% zinc alloy. We can supply such lines with on site manufacture of the alloy. This system produces highly price competitive, high corrosion resistant wire
3) Coating performance of Galfan and 5% Aluminium alloy
Excellent adhesion, no peeling in the one time twist test.
Excellent ductility. Can support thin wire manufacture by drawing and the surface is velvet after drawing.
Corrosion resistance characteristics are excellent - 2-3 times that of pure-zinc galvanizing.
