Ceramic Electric Heaters
These heaters line the kettle interior walls to give a uniform
heating throughout the kettle. The temperature is maintained ±3°C
of the target temperature in all sections of the kettle. Working
life is 2 years with the new stainless steel heating element. These
heaters are recommended only for wire and small parts but can be
used for structural steel when the kettle is built with protection
for the heaters against collision with the work pieces. Electricity
consumption ranges from 100Kwhrs/tonne to 150 Kwhrs/tonne. Warranty is 12 months for the sheath and 6 months for
the heater element assuming a working temperature of 450°C to
460°C. Suited to bath depths up to 1.2 mts
Alloy Electric Heaters
The Rolls Royce of immersion heaters with an exceptionally long
life when used strictly in line with our recommendations. These are
manufactured using a highly corrosion resistant alloy sheath unique
to Gongda, are suspended in protective recesses in the kettle wall
and maintain the kettle at ±3°C of target temperature . When
operated to our guidelines these heaters have a working life of
approximately 4 years. Electricity consumption ranges from 100 Kwhrs/t to 130 Kwhrs/tonne. Corrosion warranty is 2 years for the sheath and 6
months for the heater element assuming a working temperature of
450°C to 460°C. Suited to bath depths up to 1.2 mts
Ceramic gas heaters
These have highly corrosion resistant, pressure molded sheaths and
are suspended in protective recesses in the kettle wall. The
automatic heater system is PLC controlled to maintain the kettle at
±3 °C of the desired temperature using variable flame technology.
When operated to our guidelines these sheaths have a working life
of up to 2 years. The burner head has a life of about 7 years. Gas
consumption ranges from 15 M3/tonne to 30m3/tonne. Gas types: LPG or CNG or Coal gas Warranty on the sheaths
is 6 months assuming a working temperature of 450°C to 460°C.
Warranty on the body of the burner head is 4 years. Suited to bath
depths up to 1.4 mts
Ceramic oil heaters
These have highly corrosion resistant, pressure molded sheaths and
are suspended in protective recesses in the kettle wall. The oil
heater automatic system is PLC controlled to maintain the kettle at
±3 °C of the desired temperature using variable flame technology.
When operated to our guidelines these sheaths have a working life
of up to 2 years. The burner units have a life of about 7 years.
Oil consumption ranges from 20 L/tonne to 30 L/tonne. Oil types: Diesel or furnace oil. Warranty on the sheaths
is 6 months assuming a working temperature of 450°C to 460°C.
Warranty on the body of the burner head is 4 years. Suited to bath
depths up to 1.4 mts
Note: In all cases the high temperature working conditions tend to
enbrittle the sheaths and care MUST be taken in handling the units.
